Song Sets

There’s nothing like music to relieve the soul and uplift it. — Mickey Hart

I have a large body of repertoire from musical theatre, jazz and popular music that can be crafted into concerts to meet your personal tastes and preferences:

Broadway:  A collection of songs from both classic and contemporary musical theatre.

Jazz:  A collection of widely known and beloved classic jazz standards.

Pop: A collection of popular songs from yesterday to today. Upbeat, ballots, 50/60’s, rock…you name it, I sing it!

Here are some concert themes and ideas that have been a huge success and hit in the past with audiences:

The Story of Love: L-O-V-E, a very simple four letter word with deep meaning and importance.  Based on the Beatles lyric, “And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make” this concert will take you on a magical journey with songs that explore the different themes, emotions and dimensions of love.  It will be a mixture of the best musical theatre, jazz, and pop your ears have ever heard.

It’s A Classic:  This concert is composed of songs that have withstood the test of time and have been around for decades.  Songs that when you hear them make you say, “I love that song!” Iconic songs that take you back in time and still today can be enjoyed, hummed, and remembered by the past, current and future generations of music lovers.

The Best of Broadway: “They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway…. They say there’s always magic in the air….And I won’t quit till I’m a star on Broadway!” — George Benson.  This concert is the perfect mix of the best classical and contemporary musical theatre songs of all time.  So get your jazz hands ready and shine up your tap shoes for this show-stopper of a show!

Twist and Shout:  Get your dancing shoes on and get ready to party!  This concert is great for an energetic upbeat and entertaining evening and crowd.  From swing, upbeat jazz, 50/60’s, rock and pop this fun fill set of music will leave your guests with a big smile on their faces, taping their feet, clapping their hands and wanting more!

Let’s Go To the Movies! :  Some of the great songs of all time have come from major motion pictures.  This concert showcases some of the best songs featured in Oscar winning movies of yesterday and today. As Rolling Stones Magazine states, “great movies and great soundtracks go hand in hand.”
